Product Overview
Capsules provide an attractive tamper-evident finish to a bottle, but do not provide a barrier to air or keep mold from growing on the cork and can not be used as a bottle closure.
The capsules require a heat source of 350-400 degrees F such as a heat tunnel (SHT), bench model capsuler (HT), a paint stripping gun or a quick immersion in boiling water will work as well. The best method is to use a heat tunnel, which will shrink them smoothly around the neck of the bottles. The capsules will fit on cork finish bottles.
