Our rich Dutch cocoa powder has been alkalised (to reduce the acidity of the cocoa powder), giving it a beautiful darker colour, a less bitter flavour, and the ability to dissolve more easily in milk. The dark reddish-brown colour of Dutch cocoa powder is stunning. It is naturally made from organic raw cacao beans which are fermented at a low temperature and then dried and grounded into cacao powder.
It has a slightly higher alkalinity than our Dark Cocoa Powder and a higher cocoa fat content of 20 to 22 percent, giving it a richer, cleaner, and chocolatey flavour.
