Classic 6 is specifically formulated to ferment 6 kg of sugar ( 7kg Dextrose ) across a wide temperature range of 18 to 30c, while still producing a clean tasting spirit and a low fermentation odour. It is always our very strong recommendation to use Turbo Clear and Turbo carbon with every Turbo yeast for the best quality distilled spirit.
Classic 6 is the best selling Turbo Yeast world-wide, performing excellently under most conditions. It reaches 18% ABV where 6kg of sugar is used and has excellent temperature tolerance. Classic has been further improved with the inclusion of new mineral absorbents, further improving distillate quality. We recommend you use Turbo Carbon as it will significantly improve the performance of Classic Turbo.
All our yeast has a minimum expiry date of 6 months after purchase. If you keep the yeast refrigerated, it was last an extra year past the expiry date.
